One hundred and two candidates received their undergraduate degrees after the completion of the spring 2016 semester at Lindenwood University-Belleville. Lindenwood University-Belleville will host a Summer Overnight Visit, open to high school juniors and seniors at no cost to attendees. The event will be held Friday, July 22, to Saturday, July 23. Check-in is at 5 p.m. with check-out at noon the following day.
This summer, Lindenwood University-Belleville is hosting a variety of summer camps for youth in the community. Kaitlyn Dixon, Coquille, Ore., is the first Lindenwood University-Belleville student to accept an offer from the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois for a fall semester internship with the organization. She studies criminal justice with an emphasis in legal studies.
Lindenwood University-Belleville is among three universities in southern Illinois that will participate in the "Get to Know M.E." campaign’s scholarship program. Two students in each of the schools will $2,000 scholarships.
Lindenwood University has partnered with the Gallup organization on a three-year project to survey alumni and study graduate experiences and long-term outcomes as they pursue great jobs and great lives. The first web survey shows Lindenwood graduates are more likely than other college graduates to be working full-time for an employer and engaged on the job.
