She was a member of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and Vice President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). In addition, Henson was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. “She can finish around the rim easily and go down the floor,” said Head Coach Annie Ewing. “Henson is a solid post player who has the ability to impact our program immediately and we’re excited to have her.” Courtney Heberlie comes from St. Vincent High School where she started varsity as a sophomore, junior and senior. As a sophomore, Heberlie was named MVP and All-Conference, leading her team to an 18-9 overall record.
