Springfield, IL - Robert Morris University at Springfield came out strong and snapped a 4 match winning streak for the Lady Lynx on Thursday. RMU would win the match 3-2, but not before the Lady Lynx attempted a comeback.
After losing their first game 23-25, the Lady Lynx would win the next two games (25-18, 25-18). However, RMU would win the final two in as clost of matches as the Lady Lynx have seen all season. In the 4th game, they would go to tiebreaker points. RMU pulled ahead and went on to win 27-25.
In the 5th and final game, RMU used their adrenneline of the previous game and would prove to be too much for the Lady Lynx, winning 18-16.
The Lady Lynx record falls to 6-2, while RMU - Springfield improves to 3-4 on the season.
