Fitness Center to be Installed

Lindenwood University President, Dr. James Evans, and Lindenwood – Belleville Chief Administrative Officer, Jerry Bladdick, recently approved plans to install a new fitness center beneath the gymnasium.
“We’re excited about the new fitness center on campus,” said Bladdick. “It allows us to better serve the health needs of our new athletics teams, daytime and evening students, as well as staff members.”
The fitness center installation has been contracted through Fitness Experts and will feature state of the art equipment from True Fitness, Paramount Strength, Magnum Fitness, and GO Fit. The equipment includes multiple treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, weight training machines, free weights, bench presses, squat racks and more. Mirrors, rubberized flooring, lockers and a flat screen television are also scheduled to be installed.
The center will be open to Lindenwood University students and staff in the 2010 spring semester.
