Stabile Named National Player of the Week

Junior forward Daniele Stabile was named the USCAA National Player of the Week today for the week of September 6 -12. Stabile led the Lynx to a 7-2 victory over St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley last Thursday by scoring two goals and assisting another. Stabile said, “I’m very honored to receive the award. I’m coming off a serious injury and I’ve had to sit out for the past year, so I’m happy with the way I’ve been able to come back.” This week Stabile is making a strong effort at retaining the honor. He scored 2 goals in an 8-0 victory over Forest Park on Tuesday. He said, “I’m just glad that our team is doing well. Everyone seems to be on the same page right now and hopefully we can keep that up.” Stabile and the 5th ranked Lynx are in action again on Saturday night at Westminster College at 7 p.m.
