After leading the Lindenwood-Belleville men’s lacrosse team to a 10-3 record, Cody Trella and Cody Johnson were recognized nationally by the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
The Lindenwood-Belleville men’s lacrosse team finished the season at 10-3, in only their second year of existence, and the GRLC conference took notice. The GRLC rewarded the Lynx with the Offensive Player of the Year in the conference, the Coach of the Year, four First Team All-Conference players, and one Honorable Mention All-Conference.
The Lindenwood-Belleville men’s lacrosse battled back from a two goal deficit in the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime against DePaul University, but it was not enough. DePaul would score with 1:19 left in overtime to take the victory 13-12.
Three days after losing only their second game of the season against Missouri State, the lacrosse team of Lindenwood-Belleville had their backs up against the wall.
