Golf (M) - About the Program
Last season, the Lynx finished in second place in the inaugural season of play. Lindenwood - Belleville is currently actively recruiting men's golfers for the 2011 season. Lindenwood – Belleville men’s golf is led by PGA professional, Coach Dan Polites. Coach Polites is a staple of the St. Louis metro area golf community. Since 1989, he has owned and operated his own instructional golf facility, DP Golf Center. In 2002, Polites made the decision to take a more active role in team competition and became the men’s golf coach for Althoff Catholic High School. Since that time, Polites has led the team to three consecutive regional titles (2008-2010) and two consecutive sectional titles (2009-2010). In the 2010 season, the team placed third in the state of Illinois. The team practices at several courses in the surrounding Belleville area, including Stonewolf and The Orchards.
