Head Coach: Jeff Reis
Jeff Reis begins his first season as Head Coach, after spending the past three seasons as an Assistant Coach on the Lindenwood – Belleville women’s basketball staff.
Prior to his time at LU - Belleville, Reis was the head girls soccer and basketball coach at Lutheran South High School in St. Louis, Mo. from 2005-2007. He led the basketball team to a third-place finish at the Class 4 State Championships in 2006. Reis also coached the boy’s soccer team from 2006-2007. Prior to coaching Lutheran South, he served as the head girl’s soccer coach at Lutheran North High School in St. Louis from 2001-2005.
Reis completed his collegiate playing career at Webster University. In soccer, he was named 1999 SLIAC Soccer Conference Player of the Year and was selected to the Division III All-Midwest district team in 2000 and 2001. Reis was tabbed the SLIAC basketball Conference player of the year in 2000 and 2001 as well. He was selected as the Webster Student Athlete of the Year in 2000 and was inducted into the Webster Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. He is also a member of the SLIAC Athletic Hall of Fame.
Reis earned his associate’s degree from Meramec Community College in 1998 and received a bachelor’s degree in business from Webster in 2001. In 2009, he earned a Masters in Business Administration, also from Webster.

Assistant Coach: Annie Ewing

After serving as Head Coach for three seasons, Ewing will move to an Assistant Coach position, while resuming her duties as the Assistant Director of Athletics.
During her first season as head coach in 2010-11, Ewing led the team to a 7-22 record after playing one of the most difficult schedules of any team at Lindenwood - Belleville. In 2011-12, Ewing led the Lady Lynx to a 16-18 overall record and its first trip to the USCAA National Tournament. The squad combined for four All-American and All-Academic honors.
Prior to her time at LU - Belleville, Ewing was the head coach at MacMurray College, an NCAA Division III school in Jacksonville, Ill., where she held the same position. In her first season at MacMurray, Ewing doubled the program’s wins from the previous season and won more conference games than the year before. In her second season, she doubled the roster size from seven to 14 players, bringing in nine new players including several freshmen who contributed extensively to the program.
Ewing previously coached freshman and varsity basketball at Ursuline Academy and Lutheran South High School in St. Louis, MO. In addition, Ewing has coached abroad for the past three years including stops in Ireland, Austria, Italy, Curacao, and the Czech Republic. Ewing has coached outstanding athletes abroad including Kara Hawkins, recipient of the Joy Kingsley-Ibeh Collegiate Female Student Athlete Award, Division II Kentucky Weselyn’s Katie Behrens and Lauren Goffinet, two-time Academic All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honorees, as well as Texas A & M Kingsville’s, Dyana Bullinger, who was named one of the top three-point shooters in the Lone Star Conference.
Prior to assuming coaching responsibilities at MacMurray, Ewing was as an associate attorney at Kozeney and McCubbin, LC, in St. Louis, Mo. She advised clients on Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas legal matters involving real estate law, foreclosures, evictions, and bankruptcy.
Ewing graduated from the University of Dayton in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and she earned her J.D. (Certificate in Health Law) from Saint Louis University School of Law. She was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2006 and the Nebraska Bar and Kansas Bar in 2008.

Assistant Coach: Krystal Gundy

Coach Gundy enters her first season as Assistant Coach with the Lady Lynx this year after serving as a graduate assistant coach the past two season.
Gundy is originally from Normal, Ill., and is a 2006 graduate of Normal Community High School. In her high school career, Gundy was a dual sport athlete in both basketball and soccer. She was a First-Team All-American selection in basketball and was also voted Player of the Week in soccer.
After graduation, Gundy received a basketball scholarship at Lake Land Community College in Mattoon, Ill. Gundy later transferred to MacMurray College, where she played under Head Coach Annie Ewing. After earning her bachelor’s in physical education from MacMurray, Gundy has focused on coaching. In addition to her duties at LU-Belleville, she is the current coach for the Running Rebels select team in St. Louis, Mo.
Gundy, who recently completed her Master of Business Administration degree, will also serve as the head women’s JV basketball coach.

Graduate Assistant Coach: Brianna Gonzalez
Coach Gonzalez enters her first season with the Lady Lynx, joining the coaching staff as a graduate assistant.
Gonzalez most recently played at Oklahoma Panhandle State University from 2010-12.
While at Oklahoma Panhandle State, she was named to the Dean Honor Roll for both years and also named to the Heartland Conference All-Academic Team. From 2008-10 Gonzalez attended Cowley County Community College, where she was named team captain her second year.
Gonzalez is an Andover, Kansas native, where she graduated from Andover High School in 2008. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from Oklahoma Panhandle State in 2012. Currently she is working on her masters in Health and Physical Education at Lindenwood-Belleville.
