Daytime Admissions
Admission to Lindenwood University is based upon a review of the applicant’s previous academics and life experience. The university will review the applicant’s previous high school and/or university course work and ACT/SAT scores. The university suggests an interview with an admissions counselor who individually evaluates each applicant. Send Official Transcripts indicating graduation from the last high school attended. A copy of the student’s General Education Development (GED) certificate may be provided in lieu of the high school transcript. Transfer students who have successfully completed a two-year program that is acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor’s degree may not be required to submit their high school transcript.
*Call the Daytime Admissions Office at (618) 239-6242 one week after you submit your application to be sure all the materials are in for admission evaluation and to schedule a visit and/or campus tour with your admissions counselor. When the application, transcripts, test scores and FAFSA information have been evaluated, you will receive a letter indicating your admission status. Your admission is not complete until all official documents are received.Send Official Transcripts from all college and universities attended. Unofficial transcripts may be faxed to the admissions office at (618) 239-6170 for preliminary evaluation. 3. Send ACT or SAT Results. Lindenwood’s code number is 6888 for the ACT, or 6367 for the SAT. Transfer students with 24 or more hours of credit and applicants who have been out of high school for five or more years may not be required to furnish scores from standardized test although they are recommended. Satisfactory standardized test scores are required for all students majoring in Education. 4. Certificate of Immunization & Vaccination Requirements - Click here for form. 5. Letters of recommendation are welcome and encouraged, but not required. 6. Complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/, for those students applying for need based aid. The LU school code is 002480.
